The Purchasing Intern will support the Purchasing & Materials Management Department by performing certain typically routine and administrative tasks associated with order status follow-up, document management, etc.



Typical duties may include:

  • Entering purchasing/supplier documents in the Document Management System
  • Managing above stored documentation for validity/expiration dates
  • File and maintain Purchase Order files
  • Supplier material delivery follow-up/expediting
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed.



  • At minimum requires enrollment in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university.



  • Communication skills verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to learn and operate Company's software/systems relevant to assigned responsibilities.



Must be able to move about facility and spend time in mill environment, using required PPE.



Circumstances may require meetings throughout the facility, including the mill and offsite. Some travel may be required. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
